Kia Soul EV (PS EV) 2015-2020 Service Manual / Body Electrical System / Horn / Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove engine room under cover. (Refer to Motor System - "Under Cover")

3.	Remove the horn (A) after disconnecting the mounting bolt and connector.

Installation

1.	Install the horns after connecting the horn connectors.

2.	Install the engine room under cover.

Inspection

Test the horn by connecting the battery voltage to terminal 1 and the ground to terminal 2.

The horn should sound normally. If not, replace it.
